In this paper we would like share a few suggested outlines for dividing the word of truth - Rightly. Ask the next 100 saints in Christ Jesus you meet how we should divide the word of truth rightly, and 99 will start by saying the Old Testament should be divided from the New. And yet out of the 6,000 years that God has been working with mankind, only about 2,000 have anything to do with the Old or the New Testament, or we should say the old covenant or the new covenant.

In our studies of The Great Work of God in Christ Jesus in "The Reconciliation," we learned that all sin of all men had been borne away by Christ Jesus. Well over ninety-nine out of a hundred people that contact us here at TFT are Saints in Christ Jesus. Most are seeking a better understanding of the Word of Truth For Today, and most of these already have some knowledge of the Divine Law of Right Division. However, a good number of others who write us have very little or no understanding of this most vital truth. One can fully expect this from young Christians in other parts of the globe, but many seasoned saints, both here and abroad, are also in the dark concerning this divine study principle.

In our last paper we were considering The Lie - Satan's great lie which men have used to help build Man's Great Lie - The Indestructible Human Soul. For you see, after much time spent studying this subject over the years, I am just not sure that Satan was trying to teach that blackest of black falsehoods. Keep in view what he was working to accomplish here. He wanted both Adam and Eve dead. The earth had been his domain prior to his overthrow, now this earthling is in view to take over and this must be prevented. He was lying to Eve to get rid of her knowing that the Lord God does always honor His own word. He had said to them that on the day that they "eatest thereof they would die" - be dying, dead. Satan fully expected that end result.
